Professor Helen Higson OBE speaking at the 6th International ECE!

Professor Helen Higson, Senior Pro-Vice-Chancellor at Aston University and Professor of Higher Education Learning and Management, is joining the ECE Conference on Thursday 7 July to give a presentation on the use of Arts-based training to enhance cultural competence.  At Aston Helen currently leads on External Relations, including international relations, recruitment, outreach and employability, as well as Registry and Planning functions.

In 2003 Helen founded the Centre for Higher Education Learning and Management  of which she remains Convener.  She has undertaken extensive research work in the areas of employability and work-based learning, intercultural learning and strategic issues in HE management.
